Top Ten Tips For a Successful National Rollout
As a strategic move to lift your organization ahead of the competition, your company has decided to implement a new type technology in all of your 2,000 locations nationwide.
If you read our self service page, we mentioned that kiosks are changing the way businesses communicate and perform transactions with their customers. A kiosk deployment is a large strategic initiative for an entire organization and there are many people involved. M-Power's single point of contact project management can help alleviate stress during your kiosk project.
Kiosk deployments can range from simple plug-n-play, true "rollouts", to a series of highly customized one-offs, each one different from the other and each requiring substantial site prep work done in advance of the actual kiosk display platform installation. Electrical work, conduit, data cabling, trenching, restoration and the pouring of concrete footers can create a situation where each installation requires multiple steps, trades and visits to each site - and all of this must be expertly coordinated and executed. This is where M-Power's experience and resources truly make a difference in the success of your project.

Steps to Success for Multi-Site Kiosk Deployments Include:
Early Consultation and Planning:
Early discussions about how best to plan for a Kiosk rollout can really pay dividends when it comes to creating a platform that can easily (and cost effectively) be installed in the field.Site Surveys:
Most Kiosk rollouts require a site survey, at the very least, to accurately identify and decide on the kiosk's physical location and orientation prior to install. Ideally, one site survey will serve as the basis for the installation and a scope of work will be the ultimate result. In some cases, one site survey will determine the installation has so many variables, that a survey could be required per location.Installation:
With proper preparation conducted in steps 1 & 2, the installation could be the easiest part. Installation could include drilling a concrete floor, bolting the kiosk in place, and running and/or connecting power and data.Configuration, Testing and Training:
The final step of the process involved booting up the components of the system, and ensuring that all components are working correctly. M-Power completes all of these steps to make sure that your system is up and running, as intended, before we leave the site.
